Jaimie - Speech Language Pathologist 

 

Jaimie graduated from The University of Kansas with a Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology.  She is a certified member of the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association with dual speech-language licensures from Nebraska and Iowa.  In addition to the above credentials, she also holds a certificate in high and low functioning autism.  Jaimie’s clinical experiences include working with individuals of all ages and with a variety of speech and language impairments.  She has worked in a wide range of pediatric settings, including clinical environment, home visits and home programs including a birth to 3 program, as a team member and within ABA teams, preschool, elementary and middle school settings.  Some of her specialty training's include verbal behavior/VB MAPP, Picture Exchange Communication System (PECS), Social Thinking and Kaufman Speech Apraxia.  Jaimie enjoys helping children of all ages improve their communication skills and believes an important part of intervention includes working with parents and caregivers.

Kendra Suiter, M.A., CCC-SLP

Kendra - Speech Language Pathologist 

Kendra is a bilingual speech-language pathologist with pediatric experience ranging from birth to teens with various needs including: articulation, phonology, expressive and receptive language disorders, auditory processing, social pragmatic disorders, fluency/stuttering, English-Language Learners, autism, apraxia, asperger's, cleft-palate, deaf and hard of hearing, emotionally disturbed, and other developmental delays.  Kendra earned her BS from Western Illinois University and her MA in Speech Pathology at St. Ambrose University.   She has worked in school based and private settings in Los Angeles, Chicago and now resides Omaha. Kendra believes parents play a significant role in the success of their children at school, at home and in the community. Kendra knows the importance of collaboration with other therapists and a child's family in order to achieve significant gains in the quality of life for both the parent and child.

Tabitha - Speech Language Pathologist 

 

Tabitha graduated from the University of Minnesota, Mankato with a Master’s of Science in Speech-Language Pathology in 2007.  She is a certified member of the American Speech-Language Hearing Association.  She has worked in a variety of settings including: pediatric clinics, schools, hospitals, home healthcare, and skilled nursing facilities.  Tabitha joined our team of therapists at Kid*Ability in 2022.  Her professional goal is to help every child reach their highest potential.  Areas of greatest clinical experience and interest include: articulation, phonological processes, Apraxia of Speech, Autism, language disorders (including pragmatic language skills), swallowing disorders, and extreme picky eaters. Tabitha is trained in the S.O.S Approach To Feeding and enjoys working with children and their caregivers to help them safely grow the child’s healthy food choices.

Sarah - Speech Language Pathologist 

 

Sarah is a licensed speech-language pathologist.  She holds a bachelor's degree in music education from the University of Nebraska at Omaha, and a master's degree in speech-language pathology from the University of Nebraska at Omaha. She holds her certified clinical competencies through the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association with dual speech-language licensures from Nebraska and Iowa. Sarah also has completed the Hanen certification for early childhood intervention, and holds an early childhood certificate from Augustana University. 

 

Sarah's clinical experience has included work in early intervention home visits, schools, skilled nursing, acute care, and home health.  Sarah enjoys working with patients of all ages providing diagnostic and therapeutic services

Nicole - Speech Language Pathologist 

 

Nicole is one of our adult medical SLP's. She's been with the company since she graduated in 2008. She works in a variety of health care settings in the Omaha/Council Bluffs area, including outpatient and acute care hospitals, acute rehab facilities, home health, and skilled nursing facilities.

Caroline- Speech Language Pathologist 

Caroline received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Butler University. She recently graduated from Northwestern University with her Master of Science in Speech, Language, and Learning. Throughout her training, she gained exposure to a variety of settings including private practice, public school, and outpatient rehabilitation. She has experience working with adults and children with a wide array of communication needs. Caroline is currently completing her Clinical Fellowship Year with MaxAbility Therapy. She is passionate about meeting each child where they are, and prioritizes collaboration with parents, teachers, and other therapists to provide the best therapy possible. Caroline cannot wait to meet you!

Sarah - Speech Language Pathologist 

 

Sarah graduated from the University of Nebraska at Omaha with a Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology in 2000. She has provided pediatric services in the school setting working with children ages birth to 14 and has worked in this setting for 22 years. She has been trained in Picture Exchange Communication System (PECS) and Visual Phonics. Areas of expertise include: articulation, phonological processes, Autism, pragmatic language, and written and spoken language.

Madison- Speech Language Pathologist 

Madison has had a variety of experience working in healthcare and education. She graduated with her master’s in speech language pathology at the University of Nebraska at Omaha. During her first year as a speech language pathologist she worked as a school-based speech language pathologist. Her passion is to promote inclusive environments and neurodiversity affirming practices. She values collaboration with all individuals who support her clients (e.g. teachers in schools or nurses on the acute care floor etc.). She has been working toward Spanish proficiency to support clients in English/Spanish.

Monica - Speech Language Pathologist 

Monica is a bilingual in Spanish SLP, who graduated from Rockhurst University with a Master of Science in communication sciences and disorders. Her previous experience in the pediatric field includes working as a rehabilitation tech and daycare provider during undergraduate and graduate school. She has previous clinical experiences in early childhood intervention in a community-based center with refugee and other underrepresented and bilingual populations. Additionally, she completed a clinical rotation in the Kansas City Public School district working with children from pre-K to 6th grade, providing treatment and assessment for articulation disorders, language disorders, fluency and childhood apraxia of speech. Her adult experience includes outpatient and inpatient settings working with stroke and TBI patients. Special interests include: apraxia of speech, fluency, phonological disorders, aphasia and augmentative and alternative communication. 

Jill Glover, PT

Jill - Physical Therapis

 

Jill graduated from the University of North Dakota in 1981 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Physical Therapy.  She has been practicing Physical Therapy in Omaha and the surrounding area for over 38 years.  Although Jill has worked in various settings and with various ages, the majority of her practice has involved pediatric settings and clients.  The pediatric settings include; sub-acute rehab with critically involved patients, home health pediatric cases, educationally-based physical therapy in the school setting, and early childhood services.  Jill is dedicated to helping children improve their gross motor development  with a focus on walking and early developmental tasks, and improving a child's motor strength and confidence in their gross motor skills.  Jill has significant experience in pediatric adaptive equipment needs including orthotics and seating systems.  She has taken continuing education courses on infant handling, torticollis  treatment, orthotic needs, wheelchair fitting, Autism Spectrum, and the application of Neuro-Developmental Treatment strategies.
Jill enjoys working with the child and the parent on achieving the child's overall well-being; improving on their desire and comfort level in participating in motor activities now and through-out their lifetime.

Joel - Physical Therapis

 

Joel graduated from Saint Louis University with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2018. Joel holds licenses to practice PT in both Iowa and Nebraska. Since his graduation he has found a love for pediatrics and worked in settings including: home health, outpatient, and behavioral centers.  He has worked with patients from birth to 21 with a variety of motor impairments and diagnoses.  He has extensive experience with children on the Autism Spectrum and enjoys collaborating with other disciplines to ensure the best possible care.  Joel’s favorite part of physical therapy is maximizing a child’s ability to explore their world in a fun, interactive way.

Nikaela - Physical Therapis

 

Nikaela graduated from the University of Nebraska-Medical Center with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2013. Since graduating she has found a love for pediatrics and works primarily in the school setting in addition to outpatient pediatrics settings.  She has had the opportunity to work with patients from birth to 21 with a variety of motor impairments and diagnoses.   Nikaela has extensive experience in adaptive equipment including wheelchairs and positioning.   Her part of pediatric therapy is that everything is a game---I literally get to play my way through my "work" day.

Cori - Occupational Therapist

 

Cori graduated with a Bachelors in Rehabilitative Sciences from College of Saint Mary in Omaha, NE, and then received a Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy from the same institution listed above. Cori recently got married and is in the process of changing her name to Mrs. Castle. She has worked in a variety of settings including the clinical environment and schools.  Cori is registered with the National Board for Certificate in Occupational Therapy, and is a licensed Occupational Therapist in the states of Nebraska and Iowa. She has completed multiple continuing education courses with a focus on the following areas: Oppositional and defiant behaviors, feeding therapy, Autism Spectrum Disorders, sensory integration, and astronaut training. Cori is an Autism Spectrum Disorders Clinical Specialist, and has specialty training to complete astronaut training.  Cori has always loved pediatrics and her goal for therapy is to enable children to become independent and productive across all environments.

Carrie - Occupational Therapist

 

Carrie graduated from Buena Vista University with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, but decided to continue her education by attending College of Saint Mary where she received her Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy.  She began her career in Liberal, Kansas where she was introduced to all areas of Occupational Therapy but knew her heart was to work with children.  This led her to South Texas where she was able to develop her skills specific to pediatrics.  In 2008, she returned to the Midwest where she has been working with a mixture of both adults and children in the home and in the clinic.  Carrie has specialized in vision skills and enjoys educating others about vision and how it affects our ability to learn.  She is also certified in Handwriting Without Tears®, Brain Advancement Coaching, has experience with Interactive Metronome®, sensory integration therapy and reflex integration.  Carrie’s goal is to facilitate growth and development of all children because she believes every child has potential if we give them the tools to grow.
