Occupational Therapist

Location: Omaha, NE
 

Position:   Full-Time, Part-Time, PRN

Salary:  $35.00-$45.00/hr

About Us:

At MaxAbility Therapy Services, we are committed to providing high-quality, evidence-based therapy services to patients in our multigenerational clinics addressing skills related to ADLs, functional independence, upper extremity function, sensory processing, self-care, and social participation.  Our OT team works collaboratively to create individualized treatment plans designed to help patients reach their full potential and achieve their goals.

Position Overview:

As an Occupational Therapist at MaxAbility Therapy Services, you will work directly with patients of various ages and abilities to develop and implement therapeutic interventions that enhance their ability to perform daily activities. You will play a vital role in helping them build skills.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct evaluations and assessments to determine the individual needs and goals of each patient.

• Develop and implement customized treatment plans based on assessment findings.
  Provide direct therapy services in a one-on-one or group setting.

• Collaborate with families, caregivers, and other professionals to ensure the best outcomes for each patient.

• Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as needed to maximize effectiveness.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of therapy sessions and patient progress.

• Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of interdisciplinary treatment approaches.

• Stay current on the latest research and best practices in pediatric occupational therapy.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's, Master’s, or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.

• Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist in Nebraska and/or Iowa (or eligibility to obtain licensure).

• Experience working with children in a therapy setting, preferred.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with patients, families, and team members.

• Ability to adapt therapy approaches to meet the unique needs of each patient.

• Compassion, patience, and dedication to providing high-quality care.

• Experience with a variety of therapy techniques, including sensory processing, fine motor development, ADL adaptation, and self-regulation strategies.
